Privacy Policy
Tag Keep is designed to help you save, organize, and retrieve information on your Apple devices. We aim to collect as little information as possible.
Information you add to Tag Keep
Tag Keep may store content you create, including notes, titles, details, tags, dates, reminders, photos, Smart Lists, and other information you choose to save.
Your Tag Keep content is stored on your device. If you use Tag Keep Pro and iCloud sync is enabled, supported app data may also be synchronized through your personal Apple iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit services.
No Tag Keep account
Tag Keep does not require you to create a separate Tag Keep account, and we do not operate our own user-account database for your saved content.
iCloud
If you use iCloud sync, your data is handled by Apple's iCloud and CloudKit infrastructure according to your Apple account settings and Apple's terms and privacy practices. Tag Keep does not operate a separate cloud-storage server for your saved items.
Photos
If you choose to attach photos, Tag Keep accesses only the photos you select through Apple's system photo picker or images you capture using the camera. Camera access is requested only when you choose to take a photo.
Reminders and notifications
If you enable reminders, Tag Keep uses local notifications on your device. Notification permission is requested only when needed. Reminder information may be synchronized through iCloud when supported, while each device schedules its own local notifications.
Secure Items
Tag Keep can use Face ID, Touch ID, or device authentication to restrict access to Secure Items. Biometric authentication is provided by Apple's operating system. Tag Keep does not receive your biometric data.
Link Previews
When you open a saved item containing a web link, Tag Keep may use Apple's system services to retrieve preview information such as the page title, website icon, or preview image. This may result in a network request to the linked website. Tag Keep does not send saved links to a developer-operated server for link preview generation.
In-app purchases
Tag Keep Pro is offered as an optional non-consumable in-app purchase. Purchases, payment processing, and purchase history are handled by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. Tag Keep does not receive your payment card details.
Backups and exports
If you create a backup or export, the resulting file may contain private information you saved in Tag Keep. You decide where to save or share that file. Please store backups only in locations you trust.
Analytics, advertising, and tracking
Tag Keep does not include third-party advertising and does not use your saved content for advertising. Tag Keep does not sell your personal information.
Data sharing
Tag Keep does not automatically send your saved notes, tags, photos, or Secure Item content to third parties. Information is shared only when you explicitly use features such as the iOS Share Sheet, exports, backups, iCloud synchronization, or when a link preview is retrieved after you open an item containing a web link.
Data deletion
You can delete individual items inside Tag Keep. You can also delete the app from your device to remove locally stored app data. Data synchronized through iCloud may also be subject to your iCloud account and device settings.
Children
Tag Keep is a general-purpose productivity application and is not specifically directed to children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Tag Keep changes. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
